We are delighted to announce that 10th International Performance Training Summit will be convened on site of 2nd China International Sports Health Exhibition 2020.

(August 29 - 30, Beijing China)


Organized by BEIJING SPORT SCIENCE SOCIETY, the summit aims to promote the concept of ‘Technology Leads Performance Training’, to improve domestic performance training by technology and science. Physical assessment and diagnosis is a start for the athletes’ personalized performance training, it also reflects the effect of sports technology.


The summit focuses on the biggest challenge of performance training – Load Management. It conducts 3 sessions: elite sports performance training, special profession performance training, youth sports performance training. The summit will invite world’s top class speakers to share their insights and latest practices.

Tim Gabbett

Dr. Tim Gabbett has 25 years of experience as an applied sports scientist, owning Ph.D. in Physiology and Ph.D. in Applied Sports Science. Especially, his work is related to physical demand, injury prevention and skill development. 20-plus years ago, Tim founded GABBETT

PERFORMANCE SOLUTIONS to offer sports science services and consulting for athletes and professional teams worldwide. He has offered workshop courses in 21 countries and regions in six continents. Those courses combine the latest training scientific information and practical ideas, which can be used for athletes or sports teams in clinical environment.

Nicolas Gill

Nicolas Gill is among the world's top 100 sports scientist, and rugby fitness director with New Zealand's All Black team. He is a professional fitness coach and consultant with rich expertise in rugby and other sports. He works as an associate professor of sports performance at The University of Waikato, New Zealand. He is learning and studying in many fields of sports science to improve his fitness and health concept. During the past 11 years,Nic has worked as a fitness coach of New Zealand's rugby All Black team. That was a time when the team reaped the greatest success in global arena. It has won rugby champion for 120-plus times and the World Cup champions in 2011 and 2015.

Yuan Peng

Yuan Peng, a Ph.D. in Physical Education, researcher, and master's tutor, now works as director and secretary at Jiangsu Research Institute of Sports Science. He works in skill diagnosis, physical fitness and rehabilitation training, and other applied research and service works in high-level competitive sports. A member of the Team of Experts on Physical Fitness and Rehabilitation for the Olympic Games of the General Administration of Sport of China, an "Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Professional" of the General Administration of Sport of China; a member of the Physical Training Club of China Sport Science Society, Executive Director of Jiangsu Sports Science Society, Deputy Chairman of the Special Committee on Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and Deputy Chairman of the Special Committee on Sports Biomechanics of Jiangsu Sports Science Society.

Cao Xiaodong

Fitness Instructor of Chinese Football Association, Director of Youth Training and Physical Fitness of Professional Football Club, Director (China) of TBI, master's tutor of Physical Training at Physical Education Institute, and a member of the Fitness Club of China Sport Science Society. Certified Fitness Coach at the National Strength & Conditioning Association, and A-class coach of Asian Football Confederation/Chinese Football Association. In recent years, he has translated, compiled, and published

10-plus books, such as Awareness Through Movement, Period: Theory and Practice of Sports Training (Version VI), Football and Science, and Physical Training of High-level Football Players.

Wei Wenzhe

Graduated from Sports physiology Major of Shiga University, and working as Director of the Central Lab of Beijing Institute of Sports Science. An expert of the Physical Training Team of Beijing Institute of Sports Science, a Kaatsu Training Expert of the Preparation Office of the Chinese Olympic Committee, a Kaatsu Training Expert of Japan International Pressure Training Association, a member of Science and Technology Empowering Committee of China Athletics Association, an expert of the Highland Training Expert Group for the 2008 Olympic Games of the General Administration of Sport of China, a training expert of the Sports Division of China Sport Science Society, and an expert for the training of coaches of various sports schools throughout the country at the General Administration of Sport of China.
